hello folks seems like everyone's very caught up in their lives take care everyone! i believe god'll see us through everyday :) i've not been having sufficient sleep throughout the week! like less than five hours of sleep, and about half an hour in school before assembly pray for me!
pray that fop this sat will be reviving :)

hey guys.
so, the week's just began. hey jiamin, dont worry, we have you back k? will be praying for God to give you his direction..just trust and wait. He'll get to you. in His time, as i've learnt.
well, my olevel music composition thing has begun. it'll continue for a few more weeks. need the inspiration to compose smth good. so yea, there's another thing to pray about. and as for FOP, i just wanna once again pray for the right focus, you cant really ask for that too many times..so yea. and this weekend's gonna be really busy and all so i really need to finish my studying and hw and all in time. cant be rushing it sunday night like i just did.
I REALLY NEED TO BE FOCUSED IN MY WORK. God, pls grant me the willpower and energy to keep going. All glory be to You Lord. Amen.

how was the weekend? sorry that i din manage to talk to most of u this weekend. so do rmb to blog about the weekend alright?
the new week is here and there's a few things i wanna share with u.
firstly, festival of praise 2008.

alright, our youths are going for the saturday one. 4pm meeting in church. transportation provided both ways. do let me or angel know asap if u'll able to make it and tell us if there's any thing u would like us to pray for u about this event.
next, i would like u gals to include ur prayer requests in ur posts since we din have cell last sat so that we can keep each other in prayer. lastly, about myself. i got my piano exam results today and i din pass. yea, im abit upset but i din expect much since i din practise much anyway. my teacher was talking about retaking the exam, which means i have to go thru everything again. im not sure of what i want. kind of confused right now. furthermore, the vagueness of the details of school is also adding to the confusion. i have no idea what im supposed to do (as in the choosing of subjects) and the worst thing is i have no frens going to the same course, or even the same faculty. i really feel like im lost in a forest without a map or a compass. ya, so pray for me that i'll have God's wisdom and be able to understand what's going on and choose my subjects properly. oh ya, and also the piano thing. the thought of school is starting to be dreadful now. -sigh- alright, that's all from me for now. do rmb to blog okay? Hey babes,this are the things u need to note for this week's Breakout.
Meeting point and time: Church Social Hall, 3.30 p.m. (transportation provided so DO NOT BE LATE)
Do wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes 'cause we'll be covering quite a distance. Do also bring:
1. More than 500 ml water (no water will be provided - take note!)
2. Money (for dinner, and for the cable car ride as well if you choose this option over walking at the end of the route - cable car ride costs $11 per person)
3. Camera
You can bring these as well - optional but recommended:
1. Sunblock
2. Cap/visor
3. Umbrella
4. An extra T-shirt (if it rains or you perspire a lot and will feel uncomfortable in wet clothes)
The whole walk will end at Harbour Front MRT. If your parents are picking you up straight after the walk, let them know that we'll stop at Harbour Front MRT station at about 6.15 p.m..

anyway,
tabby, i faced a smilar situation last year.
after prelims, i went to appeal to get into SA.
and on my journey on way to hand in my appeal form,
God showed me small signs that i wasnt gnna get the appeal.
i rmb walking through SAS and i saw a verse which assurred me of God's plans for me.
in the end, i didnt get the appeal and months later and even till now,
im still sure that it's God plan for me to be in JJ.
there are times i still dont like sch,
but i know that this is the place Gods wants me to be in.
maybe now you cant see God's plan,
but believe that His plans are PERFECT!
and yea.
for all you know,
you can still get in with ur results.
i know you can and im sure the rest of the girls will agree with me.
ANYWAYS.
haha.
it's a really wet day today.
and i was late for sch.
but thankfully, my VERY NICE principal let us off and allowed us to go for lessons.
thank God.
it's been an awesome week for me and im very thankful for everythg.
wheeee.
i know im ranting away but it's a thursday and it's the perfect weather to sleep in.

im excited about the walk this sat. although im not really looking forward to the 9km walk itself, im looking forward about walking with u gals! and the dinner after that!!
yay! rmb report to church by 3.30pm and wear comfortable clothes and shoes (can be sandals or slippers also la, as long as it's comfortable to walk for maybe 2 hours).
i know the week has been tough for u, but hang in there! the weekend's ALMOST here! :D
tabby, maybe God wants to use this time to ask u to trust and have faith in Him. (:

so sorry i've been missing cell group for three times in a row!
i've been really busy and stuff with all the school programs and tests
the past few weekends have not been very nice to me
and so will the upcoming 2 weeks to come
school work piling up. tons of work are due a few weeks ago
have been procrastinating a lot

have not been doing my qt regularly too
i need to learn to be more focused!

tab here. well, i'm really really happy we're trying to gel more as a group, and things are working out too, with His help.
from all the exclamation marks, i probably seem rather excited and yea, i guess you could say so, but i've just had my taste of sad sad rejection..yea, i didnt get into AC. they still consider phase one ammplicants for phase two which is by the 6th of august. so i'm really praying that all God's trying to test me on is my patience now..but i really dont know how it'll go.
guess i dont really handle rejection well..and this hurt pretty bad especially since the only other two ppl who applied from my school got in. and everything just seems totally unfair. but i guess i'm trying to move on. managed to lose half a kg thanks to all the worrying and all. and probably by not eating icecream for a week too, but thats not the point.
just praying hard now that i'll get in. but somehow i feel that its not His plan for me? but i really dont know i guess, cos i'm not Him. got this in my devotional last night too, after getting the news :
"Never forget that life is not about you! You exist for God’s purposes, not vice versa. Why would God provide heaven on earth when he’s planned the real thing for you in eternity? God gives us our time on earth to build and strengthen our character for heaven. "
its just part of it and its so true, isnt it? so yes, i guess all this hurt and disappointment and all the tears its caused (yes, i had a real good cry; only cry abt stuff that really matters to me) will eventually be for God to mould me and it'll be good in the end. it just had to happen the same week of my dad's birthday too (its this sat) but He has a plan i'm sure.
